can somebody tell me where that vac line goes to that comes off the solenoid? i must have knocked it loose doing the plugs and it must be causing my 1200 rpm idle. its nasty anyhow and needs to be replaced. i cant see anything behind the motor even with my mirror

It goes to a metal tube on the firewall right around there, that goes to the air filter, it isn't critical and likely won't be causing any high idle issues, it is at atmospheric pressure all the time, just a "filtered" intake for the solenoid. I think the solenoid itself might also have a filter in it maybe?

Interestingly enough, that metal tube on the firewall goes to the unfiltered side of the air filter canister. But yeah, there is a little foam rubber filter in the solenoid itself.
