Hello everyone! My name is Alexander, I am a senior sergeant in the Ukrainian army Recently I found a Pontiac Fiero in my region and I plan to buy it, I just need to resolve the issue with the documents. The only thing I am worried about is buying spare parts because they simply don't exist in my country, the car is without an engine and gearbox, there will be a swap, I am also looking for a dashboard, it is also not available.

Thank you! The war has evolved for the second year now, tanks are used as artillery for shooting. Drones are in charge on both sides of the front. I, like myself, serve in a company of strike unmanned systems.
Be safe out there, it's a tough time in your county.
As far as Fiero parts, I doubt any US residents would be able feasibly send you anything. I could be wrong though. You may need to become good at building your own stuff. A Fiero dash, while not large, is still a challenge to ship even stateside. There is absolutely no way it would make it to you without being damaged.
Hello back from New Jersey. When the war is over, hopefully soon, it may be possible to ship Fiero parts to the Ukraine again. There are plenty of Fiero parts here in the USA The obstacle may be the shipping at the present time. There have been a few forum members that have swapped Volkswagen and Nissan engines in Fieros so anything is possible with the right approach. Good luck on the project.

Just FYI for the members on here, in addition to air, there is also shipping by sea which is MUCH less expensive. The delivery time is 4-5 weeks in most cases but you can ship anything via sea. Here in California, we have a person who offers shipping to Poland via sea and his prices are so low that we send tons of items to my family in Poland. He offers this service a couple times a year. We simply drive to the drop off point, he weighs the items, we pay, and they get loaded right on to the container.
Here is a quote from the U.S to the Ukraine for a 30lb box that would be 20x20x20.

if you are able to source all the parts you need including engine / transmission ... everything at once, i know a freight forwarder who can find you space in a 20' container. it would have to go to poland or someplace close, and you may have to arrange transport into Ukraine. when you get all your info together and figure out how many square meters and weight , let me know and i can put you in contact.

I will find the engine and gearbox and install them myself on site. The main task will be to find the instrument panel. Perhaps some other parts that I will not find analogues in Ukraine/Europe.
If this post is real, then good luck brother, and I hope you and your beautiful country survives this horrible war. We (Canada /USA) should be doing more to help. If Hitler had been stopped when he moved into the Sudetenland... Into controlled areas of the Rhine valley... into Czhecoslovakia, then WW II could have been avoided. But the West was weak and let him take and take... same as what Trump is now proposing we do..
This is sad, terrible situation
It is great that you like the car. But honestly, in my opinion, better wait until this terrible war is over, and then if you really want a Fiero, you can get a complete, running car shipped to Europe. I can even drive it to Budapest for you, and you take it from there. Trying to fix up a car with no engine, missing parts, in the middle of a war zone... terrible shipping .. it is probably not realistic
This war will not end, its appetites are great. Apparently I have already gotten used to this, the war will not stop me from restoring Fiero, even though I live on the border with Russia (in the city of Sumy)
Welcome aboard! Big respect for what you’re doing there - you’re fighting not just for Ukraine’s freedom, but for all of Europe’s safety. Putin isn’t only trying to "reclaim" Ukrainian land, he’s also testing NATO’s resolve and strength, and it means a lot knowing guys like you are standing up to him.

Basically doing what Hitler did in 1937-38 Britain, France, USA, Canada decided to ignore him .... and look what happened
