Johnny Lightning has both bodystyles of the Fiero GT on the way in 1/64 scale. Far as I know, there hasn't been a fastback in this scale aside from the modified Hot Wheels 4x4 variants.

NEW TOOLING ANNOUNCEMENT!

Johnny Lightning is turning up the excitement with the first look at our test shot from our brand-new tooling of the 1985–1988 Pontiac Fiero GT! This detailed setup includes two body styles—notchback and for the first time in true 1:64 scale: the fastback. The opening rear hoods with two variations, unique to each body style, reveal the detailed 2.8 V6 engine. All new Fiero mesh wheels are wrapped in rubber tires under a detailed die-cast metal chassis. For maximum authenticity, we tooled completely new bodies for each variation! These ain't no "kit cars" these are the real deal.

Stay tuned for future sneak peeks at the fully-painted and detailed first release of the Fiero.

Will it come in black? Will they have appropriate wheels for the years?

Very nice but I'm hoping the paint and finish are a bit better on the final product.

The paint looks too thick. Detail issues with the trim, ground effects and engine and they need to get lace wheels on the fastback. The fastback sail panels aren't very good either.

Might be fun to customize once you have one.

Take a deep breath and relax. The paint and details will be probably the 1/64 out there based on JD previous products.

Also over time they do various stock colors.

They may even co modified variations like the C5 Drag car that was done much like a real tuner would do with Hoosier slicks.

I'm super stoked about this! I have one other Johnny Lightning car and it is very well done with excellent detail. I'm sure the final product of the Fiero will be very nice!
Can't wait to order a few haha
