Nice reply.
What ever happened to Miss Lori ? I helped fund her attempt to make "correct" replacement GT quarter windows. My best to her.

Well said Jeremy!

Unless one has attempted a Fiero-based business, and keep it going with large overhead costs, they have no right to gripe.

Best of luck to you and Mike!!

My observation, as already alluded to by others, is that the Fiero business is likely not sustainable as anything more than a side gig, unless one is very specialized, like Rodney or Villain, or just so good that people come from all over the continent.
Even the Fiero Store doesn't just do Fieros. They have other lines that they support, too. People largely need to keep their "day jobs".
There just aren't enough Fieros left, or Fiero owners who are interested in restoring them.
Even 80s F-bodies are not "going gangbusters", and there was a time when every third car you'd see was an 80s Firebird or Camaro.
A lot of people like to compare Fieros to Corvairs, which I think is probably a fair comparison. A "niche" car. An orphan. They had a large cult following, but most of the owners have aged out.
Add to it that not many people, in general, are "gearheads" any more. And the ones who are, are into Civics or (on the opposite end of the spectrum) Hellcats.

I wish Mike well in his endeavors. I will try to support him as I need pieces, just as I tried to support Jeremy when he was doing it.
But the truth is, I have built my spare parts stash slowly and carefully over the years, so - as both of them will probably attest - I haven't needed much.
I've bought more Fiero parts this past year, than I have in the previous five, but I'm repairing a neglected 85 GT. I don't have many spares that are applicable to pre-88s.

I still have one of the last sets of quarter windows produced before Lori and her business partner parted company. (Custom. No "GT" emblem. They were bought for my Formula fastback, and may yet find their place. I hope they are not plagued with the difficulties that some of the later ones suffered. But there's always Chris Cook's windows.)

Yeah... I've wondered, myself. Well wishes.
