Hey guys... I've been super busy, and my daughter has been focusing almost all her time working on the Fiero. But we're like at least a dozen videos behind... the most important thing though is getting her Fiero finished. But we made a quick 1 minute YouTube shorts video at the Fiero Store. My daughter went to Connecticut, and she got a quick tour.
I hope that YOU PAID FOR -------E V E R Y T H I N G
Hahah... yeah, I did. I actually got a couple of things, like an extra set of rear rubber engine compartment flaps... one for my Fiero, and another for her Fiero. It's really a whole other experience when you're shopping down actual isles, rather than on the website.
its disappointing you switched to the sideways video thats popular now.it doesn't work well with a computer monitor.
She hasn't switched... that was a YouTube Short... and they only allow "shorts" to be vertical. She is behind by like almost ~10 videos now... unfortunately, but all of those will be landscape. The main priority for her is to get the car done, and the videos second... I've told her how many people start projects, never finish them, and then the car ends up in the junkyard. She was mortified when she imagined her Fiero, "Silver" getting crushed in the yard... hahah...
Anyway, every once in a while she wants to do vertical videos as quick "updates" to let people know she's still alive / working on the car... haha. She has three "Shorts." One is where she's painting her flywheel, another is where she's lock picking, and this is the third one. You'll note that if you go to her video channel, this one doesn't show up unless you go to shorts.
EDIT: She'll make a much larger / longer video with the Fiero Store at some point... but we haven't even shown Cliff's interview yet!

I got a kick out of watching her go thru the airport and announcing " last week i flew to ct". looks like she was in Bradley international. when its only a 45 minute drive for me.
Although i mail order like most everyone else.
A longer vid would be appreciated. ive been there but never walked up and down and looked in the shelves. Nice to get some advertising for the fiero store, they have helped me a lot in the past and are helping keep the tradition alive.

Hahah... yeah. Honestly, it had been like... decades since I was last in Bradley International. I used to live in Stamford when I was a kid, so I kind of missed the place. But it was awesome seeing the store. I've been buying stuff from there since I was 19. I still have my 1998/1999 Fiero Store catalog... and it was as much exciting for me as it was for her. Half of the video she had to cut out the audio because I kept saying... "OMG, SO AWESOME.... blah blah."
I really hate to say it... but man, even though they have everything on their website... you don't truly see what you need until you're walking through the isles and see everything right there in front of you. Flights to Bradley are only $55... so I'm half tempted to fly up there for a day and go shopping again... haha. The team there was really awesome... it was really good getting to meet Matt and the other guys working there. I was really happy to be able to support them, and that my daughter was as excited as she was.
We got a lot of horizontal video too... including some shots from up above in the loft, where you can look down over all the shelves.

She's working on the next video right now, but has a bio-luminescent midnight kayaking trip planned on Thursday through Saturday. Must be nice... when I was her age, I was knocking over Port-O-Potties, getting C's, and watching my friends take a crap on the Driver's Ed car in the middle of the night while it was parked behind the school.

I still have to finish up the engine video, and then a video where we interview Cliff Pennock and get to see his Fiero in Amsterdam!
I'm going to help her do the videos (since she doesn't have time), so I'm hoping I can get them out by the end of August.
Cool video and nice young lady there. If I were you, might consider keeping an oiled Louisville Slugger by the front door, if you don't already have one.

Hahah.. thanks. She actually owns a Ruger 2022 (or whatever it is called), small .22 caliber rifle (pink) that she keeps in her closet, and she also has a pink composite bow which she uses for archery. I'm trying to find the video, but she made several bullseye shots in a row. She also does karate.
I apologize for bragging, but I cannot take credit for any of this. Sometimes the worst parents produce the best kids... that's all I'll say.
