Not bad. Nice to see us getting some thumbs up.

Too bad that GM has abandoned "performance for the average guy", along with nearly anything with a manual transmission. The exceptions being the V-series for manuals, and the Corvette, of course. They have ceded affordable performance to the Japanese and Koreans.
GM now offers exactly nothing that I'm interested in, and can afford.
With the Camaro and Challenger going away, and the only performance Dodge now being a turbo straight six (the Hemi is dead), Ford is going to sell a crap-ton of Mustangs.

Sadly the performance. ARKit in the affordable range is dead.

It used to be a Camaro was a cheap Nova with a big engine that made it cheap to build, sell and still make money.

That formula is dead. Even the small turbo RWD Toyota is struggling much.

The only real performance that is profitable is the cars that cost more. Economics along with government regulation is killing the cars we loved.

Even the Mustang is on borrowed time. It gets more expensive snd only sells a small slice of what it used to fo.

The auto industry is in big trouble. Higher labor cost, tougher regulations and being forced to develop EV products few want. They can’t ignore it so now you see a GM that develops both ICE and EV.

FYI keep in mind many cars today are 300 plus HP even on six cylinders. My wife’s Acadia is faster than a stock 396 Chevelle. So performance is still there if you look beyond the body.

Today it is about making more profits and products that return more dollars on investment. It is not greed as many like to claim it is survival.

Even with the Raptor, Mustang and Bronco Ford stock is still dangerously low. It is a not what will save the company. If ford was not 51% owned by the family it would be in even deeper trouble.
