And I mean one and the same. And one you actually drove on a regular bases (so not sitting in your yard).
I'm asking because I just realized I have owned my current Fiero for 26 years now and have driven it since the day I bought it. It has broken down a few times making the car undrivable for a few months, but other than that I drive it almost daily. It needs more than its fair share of small repairs, but enginewise it's still going strong.
My 87 GT was bought in 1990 (2nd owner) - 32 years. Was a year-round daily driver until 1995, and after that only driven in winter if roads were clear. (I bought a house with a garage and 2nd vehicle in 1995) After engine rebuild and repaint in 2000, it became a "summer car" only.
I bought the Indy in 2006 (16 years already?) got it driveable by 2007. It has always been a "summer only" car.
These are the only 2 Fieros I've owned.

I have owned my 1985 SE V6 since new (That was in 1985 (May 22) and still own it....done a few mods to it, also; 3.4 F-body block, 5 spd Getrag, 88 rear suspension and brakes (All around) and mixed and matched some bodywork. Still haven't found the "Wrench that fits the loose nut behind the wheel", though.....

17 years here. Bought it for $500. Had some minor body damage and a bad egr tube. My son drove it to school, college, Texas ,Ohio then brought it home to be restored.
I have had 2. Both 1987 GT 5 speeds. Both daily drivers The first car 8 years, The car I am driving now, 18 years. Owner ship was consecutive. I have never had two daily driven Fieros at one time.

I'm the original owner of a white ' 84 2M4 purchased Dec 10, 1983 from Pontiac. Always garaged, no rust, 3800SC, 4-wheel drifts are fun!
I have my factory yellow Formula that Ive owned for 22 years. Replaced alot of things so she's like new, but not much on the engine. Its been rebuilt by the late Fiero guru Jim Gilbert, and still runs as great as she did when I pulled her out of his garage 22 years ago. RIP Jimmy ! I also presently own a beautiful 87 GT with a 5 speed. This car is a real eye catcher, and people flip every where I go.
I've owned and driven by Silver 88GT for 23 years this month. I have my Dad's 85GT that has been in the family for 37 years and is still a driver. While I didn't drive it the whole time, I sure went for lots of rides in it as a kid.
The thing I love about this car is that it still turns heads. In fact, not a day goes by that someone doesn't takes pictures of it. Or people have their picture taken while standing next to it.
Car-spotting is all the rage now here and you see kids on busy intersections taking pictures of cars. The other day I was driving behind a Porsche Carrera 4s and the kids ignored the Porsche and were taking pictures of the Fiero instead. 😄

I purchased my 87GT in 1996 so that would be 26 years but it was only used as a hobby car and driven to shows, cruise nights and Sunday drives.

Once I was straight out of high school and bought that car on looks alone. Never mind the fact that I lived in a place where winter hit hard and early, and that car was worse then useless in the snow. Never mind the fact I didn't really *need* a car.
Worth every penny in the end, in fun and experience. I now own a slightly more practical Toyota Tacoma, but I'll never forget my pretty little red 2M4.
I bought my first 88 GT at 16 and owned it for 10 years. Pristine condition. Foolishly sold it when I had my first child. Not a family car?....what a dummy.
Now I’ve been working on an 88GT barn find for over a year and have a LONG way to go.
Speaking of which, I’m looking for some polished 5 spoke wheels similar to my old car, but 17x7 and 17x8. I can’t find anything anywhere. Anyone have any leads?
Purchased my 86GT in early1996, I am the second owner. Early on I used it as a daily driver, computing between Lafayette and Houston. About 3 years ago I drove it to Fierorama. Now days I only drive it about once a month or so.
New 2 15 84, 25+ yrs daily dtiver, 3+yrs "rest" Jan 2014 back on road, oct 21 clutch failure dec new clutch & more, runs dtives good Upgraded with new leather shift knob.
I have had my 88 for 10 years now and still loving it. Go to as many car shows as possible. Each year it wins better and better awards. I went all summer and did not see another Fiero at a show.
