Throttle body supposedly came off a 2003 Cadillac Northstar 4.6.

I'm trying to get all my parts lined up for my 3800SC Series III swap and thought I needed a 2000-2005 Northstar throttle body and a L36 gen 5 adapter plate which is what I thought I had purchased. None of the holes in the parts fit together or line up.

Adapter plate from ZZP is the "Gen 5 to L67/L36 Throttle Body Adapter Plate"

They do not line up with each other in any way, shape, or form.

Where did I mess up?

It appears this is the adapter you need for that throttle body but I'm not 100% sure:

I think you're correct. Already ordered and requested a RMA to return the first one.

Thanks too.

Yuppers, wrong adapter.
Are you using an LQ4 MAF?

I'm still shopping for parts but it looks like ZZP has everything I need.

How do you attach the LQ4 to the N-star throttle body?

you can sorta see the tube I used. It's one with a 45 degree angle because I've got an intercooler which is also why I had to notch the lid. the tube connects to the LQ4 which in turn is connected to one of those corrugated tubes from ZZP that connects to the cone air filter.

Thank you for the info... just waiting my turn for a plug-n-play harness and pcm to be completed.

Engine trans alternator mounts, fuel pump, and of course Series III in hand.

Axles have been sourced through S. Poe... just need to rob another bank to finish my purchases.
