For 88 GT: ACDelco D1943A VS ACDelco D1984A Which one is better? Is there any difference between those two? Every source I looked up leads me to dead end. If you know a lot about this subject, please share it with us so we can keep our Fiero alive. Thank you.

The D1943A is the stock replacement for the 88V6.
I have the AC Delco ICM on both of my 88s.
The other module you listed isn't the right part number for the car.

I'm running the D1943A as well when I rebuilt my distributor..... it has the correct logo stamping as stock too that I noticed.

Thanks, Fierogt28 & Unboundmo, for confirming which one you guys use.
Also, I noticed on eBay, another ACDelco part, D1960A, match up for Fiero GT. Hmm
But when I looked up D1960A on Amazon, it says it's not compatible. How strange!
When I used the part number # 10496269 for ICM from 22P book, it ties to D1960A.
Oh boy, sometime it gets confusing trying to find the right part. Ha

Ya, the D1960A is listed for the 86GT, but the 85GT is listed the same for the 87-88GT. (D1943A)
I have no idea why this is...

Guys, turns out both D1943A and D1984A are compatible for 88 GT.
Here's two pictures from ACDelco website for confirmation.

Lets muddy the water some more... LOL
Apparently all the same, except for economy, middle and "professional" grade.

Then there's the "performance" modules.
I had an Accel one once - died after a year.
Davis usually has good products.
But this may just be a Delco module with his sticker on it.

Has anyone tried the DUI module? As stated above, DUI usually has quality stuff....On their website they claim "Longer Dwell" and go on to state "Better idle, and low end performance....Anyone...?

The only review I could find on the 8-pin module is here:

AC Delco doesn't make anything anymore. I keep ordering Delco and getting Chinese made crap in a Delco box.

I have the DUI module in my 88 formula as well as their coil. They were both originally used in my 95 c1500. Haven't had any issues with them what so ever. Knock knock. Have had them both in the fiero for over 5 years now. However, I don't put very many miles on it, about 2k/yr. Probably had them in the truck for about two years, daily driver.
