Just as the title says, I cannot delete "dead" links from PIP history, by clicking on the "delete" button next to the file name.
I may be able to go in and edit the file, and delete them that way, but I'd rather do it as it was intended.
What gives? Am I just not holding my mouth correctly?

Works ok for me but I have admin rights.
If most users w/ UAC active Right click icon Run as Admin does same for that time. (If Sys or Net admin didn't lock out that function.)

I also have admin rights on my machine.
Nevertheless, did the "Run as admin" thing when I opened it. Deleted dead links.
Closed and reopened... They're still there.
