The 84 convertible was originally a bumperpad and was later redressed in aero trim as a roadster and shown again in 85. I think I read that it was later crushed.

Doesn't look like a convertible to me. It looks like a really nice roadster to me though.

Yesterday the roadster was destroyed.

It had no roof and really may not have done well in a crash since it was really just a show. The liability would have been too great.
It was no where near production standard as some of the cars they sold.
