Anybody want to weigh in on Lloyd Mats as they relate to the Fiero? I am interested to know some opinions on the three levels of quality. The highest end product they have is called Luxe and pricey at around $140+ starting price without embroidery per set. The Corvette forums rave about these but they seem a little overkill for my needs. Next is their Ultimat at around $90+ per set. Followed by their Velourtex at around $70+ per set. As far as color is concerned, I am not worried because I am interested in black. Just wondering if the Ultimat is the way to go vs. Velourtex if I am not in the market for Luxe level mats. My search didn't yield any results as far as a comparison. I read the technical data on their site but wanted real world reviews.
I have a set of Ultimat for my 88GT. They are amazing and I like them a lot.
I also bought a set of Velourtex for my son's Escape. I bought these about a year after I bought the Ultimat for the Fiero and actually thought I was buying the Ultimat. The Velourtex, while nice, aren't as luxurious as the Ultimat. I don't think I would buy the Velourtex again. They are more of a smooth finish with very little pile to them.
I also have a BMW 545 and am going whole hog with those and about to put in an order for the Luxe mats. That, IMHO, would be overkill in a Fiero. Lloyd Ultimat are well made and more than thick enough for the Fiero.

Fiero Store does carry Lloyd Mats but they also have the smaller style cut and an economy version of the smaller style cut as well. I believe Russ88TTop also makes and sells a very nice version of the small cut style mats.
Several months ago I bought a set of LLoyds mats for the Cadillac CTS and they were well made with nice trim & logo. I wasn't aware they made them for the Fiero until I read this link. I'll have to look into this. Thanks for the post.

I tried to get them to make MERA mats. They said no due to copyright in the double MM possibilities.
I tried to get them to do an embroidered logo also but they won't due to copyright infringement laws. I understand but am not happy about it because you can't find anyone to do them anymore. I used to own a commercial embroidery business but never had the ability to do it then either. People don't understand that after the embroidery is done...you have to have the machines to cut and assemble the carpets. That is the hard part.
