How did you deal with the separation between the radio and the HVAC control?

1/2" thick closed cell foam, worked fine for me.

I am more interested in the HVAC controls... like where are they from, what did it take to install it and where can I get one??

The head unit is out of a 2000 Grand Prix with digital HVAC controls. All of the parts for my build was taken from the local Pull-A-Part yard in Lafayette. Parts include; Digital head unit, connector for the head unit, temp sensors, control motors, relay block, etc.

There is a write up on the build here on the forum but for the life of me I cannot locate it.

Oh, forgot to mention; this mod should be of interest to those that have done a 3800 NA & SC swap. The Digital HVAC controller can perform an engine diagnostics when wired to the ECM data link.
