Isn't the 88 GT vent mount bracket the same as the 87 gt?

The notch back bracket is not the same.

The fastback engine vents are much longer, so the bracket has to support them further back. Here is the coupe version. Notice the vent stops in front of the strut shaft, not 3" behind it on the fastback vents.
