As I simply can't ever let an opportunity to spend more money on my Fiero go by, I've been seriously considering an engine swap.

I do not have the time or ability to do it myself, so I'm looking for a turn-key type of service. If the Fiero Factory was closer to me, I would have them put in a 4.9, as I feel this would be an excellent choice for my 87 GT auto. Not completely eliminating them from consideration, but they are a 10 hour drive away.

Anyone in Michigan that does this (or possibly another V8) swap? I'm more interested in a V8 than a 3800SC, but I'm open to all possibilities.

Thanks in advance for any advice.

I don't know if they do engine swaps, or not, but what about Tim Evans' Fieros Forever place in Sanford, MI? You should be able to google his place, or find him through the Michigan Fiero Club. At the very least, they might be able to point you to someone more local.

I'm familiar with Tim from Fieros Forever in Sanford. I don't think he does engine swaps, but I appreciate it.

I DO need to get out there one Saturday once the weather gets better.....
