Maybe Cliff can add another forum "area" labeled Events like there is for general chat, o/t, tech..

so postings on shows club meets/etc don't get buried .. they'd have there own spot..

You see that calendar on the top right of the forum pages. He could just add it to Augusts dates

Hoping to see everyone. Always a fun event as we spend the day with Fiero friends swapping, buying, trading or just having fun talking about and checking out all the Fieros. Great raffles for charity and The Fiero Store is open for your shopping pleasure. What a great way to spend a nice summer day. I'm happy to answer any questions.

It's at the top right of the page, not in threads in the topic where you look for a thread or start a thread.

I think Lou is saying he can't make it to our club picnic this weekend, but is hoping to make it to the NEFA swap meet at the Fiero Store in August, which is what this thread is about. Lou, sorry you can't make it to the picnic. We'll miss you.

LOL yeah, I read the subject too fast. Apparently August 13th is a popular day. I know of 5 cookouts/events going on that day so I'll try to hit 2 of them...maybe 3...

Even if you can't bring a Fiero, come join NEFA for a fun day of swapping, buying or just talking with other Fiero enthusiasts. Lots of raffles with proceeds after expenses going to charity. The Fiero Store is open that day.

I don't understand why people even bring their Fiero's to these thing, kind of hard to put a front bumper or deckled in them. I mean if you need parts and come across a good deal, the trunk just ain't going to cut it. But with these cars being 25+ years old anyone coming from say a couple hundred or more miles away wants to have AAA that covers a tow that far.

Just saying, if I can even handle the drive it would be in one of our trucks, Suburban, or Dodge Ram pickup. More room if I need to stop on the road and lay down to lower my back pain and more room for more parts

Steve

Its only a week away… you got your stuff ready to sell or trade?

Or just come and show off your car!

Or come for the raffle!

Or for the free beverages…

Or to see what The Fiero Store looks like…

Or to meet the people from The Fiero Store who we’ve all spoken with… put a face to the voice…

Point is, there’s a ton or reasons to come… it all good!

From.........Ray Paulk, NEFA President

A BIG THANKS TO EVERYONE WHO CAME OUT ON THIS HOT AND HUMID SATURDAY.

It didn't rain, which was predicted in the afternoon, so that was good. With refreshments supplied by NEFA, everyone was enjoying cold water or soda. 14 Fieros and several what we like to call "rebodies" were in attendance. The Fiero Store was open and some of the larger purchases went out in the "rebodies." There were some wonderful raffle items and everyone was generously buying tickets. All proceeds from the raffle after expenses are donated to charity(s).

Several swap meet items were available. I know my husband, Phil, sold a set of 88 Formula/GT wheels to a happy new owner.

We do this every year at the beginning of August so if you haven't attended a NEFA Swap Meet yet, we hope to see you next year.

Thanks again to all Fiero enthusiasts who braved the heat and humidity today. You are all the best!
