I spent the afternoon at my favorite salvage yard, aka the Happiest Place on Earth, on my second attempt to buy a sunroof panel for my '87 hardtop. I had removed the seats from the '86 bumper pad Fiero and was unbolting the roof when I heard a man say "They catch fire." Before I could respond, the other guy who was with him said, "Not all of them!" By the time I got up and out of the car they were gone.
The owner of the only junkyard with Fieros near my parent's house makes fun of both my cars (Fiero and SL2) whenever I go there. And he charges way too much. I refuse to go there ever again. He will never get another dime from me.

only place near you,, hint, he/they know this.. I doubt they charge to much, they are in business to make money, unlike the members here that give parts away.. AKA they don't have to add in overhead to the price when members sell parts..
yards all talk to each other, as they will get a part for a customer from a yard near them.. so he knows no one else has some cars.. making fun of your cars,, who cares.. they are not making more, let it go in one ear and out the other..

I've had similar experiences at other yards, but I love this yard. It always has good prices, but it helps when certain people are working the check-out lanes. Yesterday the women working the cash register listed my roof panel and sail panels as moldings, so I got everything for $28.
I have no idea why, but the only people to ever rip on Fieros are junkyard guys, or Harley Guys aha. Everyone else seems to love them or think they're super cool!
