My headlight lids flop when they are in the up position much over 70mph. They have one torsion spring on each lid vut it isnt enough resistance. Theyre on a replica328 body so bot stock lids. Any ideas?

It might be that the other torsion rod was removed to compensate for the extra weight of the louvered coverlays for the headlight doors.

Yeah the thing about that is the louvers are made into the fiberglass hood behind the headlight lids and not on the headlight lids.

The lids will actually go up more because they aren't part of the mechanism. They probably only need the additional torsion rod. Do you know why it was removed?

How close are you to Huntsville? The Fiero Factory is just north on Hwy 53 in Toney. They have bunches. Otherwise a bone yard or an ad in The Mall.

They will ship if you want them to. Pick up or ship, they're a little pricey. I'd try The Mall first. We might have some in our parts barn. Email TopNotch of the Georgia Fiero Club. He's registered here, so you can do a search and find his profile info. You will have to identify which rod is missing from each door.
