Anyone know a good place to get some paint for the fake brushed silver trim around the radio/gauge cluster and shifter? Mine is in need of redoing and figured I'd do all at once. Thanks in advance, Tate
That may not be paint at all, but vacuum-metalized on the back surface.....can't remember the particular color, but back then a lot of silver-gray paints were called 'argent'.

It will be quite difficult to recreate the brushed look, I would look for used replacement pieces in the Mall. What year?
Paint with correct color then test different grits of sandpaper (in both dry as well as wet or dry) until proper grain is achieved, then light coat of clear.
I can also replicate a brushed finish on stainless as well as aluminum.
Cool, I would have thougvht maybe a fat paint brush dragged across it, but achieving a uniform look would seem quite tricky.
