Here?
Many can't because links to 3rd party hosts are dead. Common problem: Host is bankrupt/sold/etc, host killed the links after X days, user moved/deleted the picture.
Is why we push people to use PIP, FTP, etc, to PFF picture host so pic links stay alive.

Many links to my cave are dead too. Comcast killed that service in 10/15.

Thanks ogre. I had come across a west coast fiero thread with lots of pictures of (apparently) disassembly of the 282 Getrag gearsets which I have not seen elsewhere, but done (without pics, I regret). Frustrating , for sure.

Or if those hosting sites are still working they are sometimes doing maintenance. Come back a few hours later or the next day and they are there, sometimes.

Does this help you?

In some cases, if you a lucky, you can also use the Wayback machine, AKA, the Internet Archive. They crawl the web, and snaphot sites over the years, and save many of the images as well.

Here is an example page that I set up back in 2007 for downloading my RoadRunner CarPC skin. The site has been down for 7 years now. I am amazed, that I was actually able to download the 57Mb file that they also archived as well!

Thanks for the suggestions. I will wait a week or so as I have tried to contact the store associated with the thread via email.

Edit Fiero 123, Thanks. Yes I had found the paperback previously and "looked inside" It appears to be the source for the drawings I got from Rodney when I split a case to change a speedo drive gear. Apparently , the pictures I am seeking are live pictures of (?press") work . If so they would be a good addtion here.
