My fiero chassis 328 replicas headlight lids pop up at about 75mph. The hood has the vents on it but they are just for looks and have no actual openings for ventalation behind the headlights or atop the radiator to vent. I seen somewhere people were cutting out holes in the like wheel wells to vent the air pressure that forces the lids open. Any ideas? Also Timm Bacher aka phonedawgz, aka red devil river sucks. He stole my harness and ecu. My bank gave me back the $200 deposit he didnt refund. Hes a total crook.

On Fierosounds site about 1 of his Fieros he shows where he installed 2 vents in the front bay for that reason. It's down the page a little.

http://www.fierosound.com/moreMODS.htm

I didn't read it right now but if I remember correctly he found a different spot on each side as the front bay isn't perfectly symmetrical. Then he bought a couple grilles and installed them over the holes he cut to vent the air pressure. Pretty unobtrusive way to go about it. Me, I did the vent over the radiator in the hood when I had mine. Either works it's just dependent on what kind of final look your going for with your Fiero.

HL door popped at 70mph then door or front has problems.
Popping doors happens > 90+, most times > 100mph or more.

Door should have 2 spring to hold them down. One can break or is missing.
Missing panels under front can mess up air flow. Modified front end could to same.

I miss spoke. When the headlights are on and both of them are up the lids will pop up and down loosely at about 75. I havent actually seen them pop up with the headlights in the off position.

Still shouldn't move at 70 to 90.

OE Doors have 2 spring on hinge side. Small version of rear lid springs and works about the same.

Im going to have to find some suitable springs and figure out a way to rig it then. Unfortunately the dude thats putting my 3800sc swap in has had all the part for three months and has yet to start the install. The 4cyl has been removed from the cradle but it took a while to get all the parts so he took it off the lift. This has been back in june.
