Gah! If you get one with my name on it, I didn't send it! I actually don't think I've ever e-mailed someone from here. I've always used the forums PM function.
No, well probably, you are in an address book (of a pff user) that got hacked thus the names you see show up, very common.
Edit to add: it prob isn't even who you got it from, viruses tend to pick a name at random from the address book and put that as the sender to hide who really has the virus. I deal with this all the time removing it from client computers.

I used to get e-mails from my nieces who never e-mailed before, when I opened up the email it was from a company or website, wanting me to buy into porno or other revenue draining sites or memberships. The way they got my nieces names were through my contact list on my computer. How? Who knows! Could be a Trojan virus or hacking. Usually the person or group supposedly sending you the e-mail is in no way involved, I checked with them. It;s a thing that eventually finds it's way to most people regardless of the type of firewalls we have!

Someone also may have hacked the users through the forum. It is quite easy actually...... I clicked the members button, and clicked search, and searched for all "Florida" members. It gave me a nice list, that I saved. I wrote a tiny script to read the usernames and generate the URL where the email could be scraped from.
All you need is the users screen name, and put it into this URL: "//www.fiero.nl/cgi-bin/fiero/Ultimate.cgi?action=email&ToWhom=User_Name"
I was NOT trying to SPAM people, but just make them aware of the Daytona Show a couple years back. It was a one time email, unless they then subscribed to the mailing list.
I did find out that about 80% ~ 90% of the emails people used when they signed up, are now inactive, and bounced back.

This is why I use Linux, less hacking and viruses.
I just looked and didn't sign in so I could see if our private emails are available to the general public, that is our choice to put it in there and have it available to general public. So it is very likely it may not be a member at all, just some smart ass who wants to laugh at you.
I know I have gotten spam from here by members as a joke, sometimes not as a joke. I hate imports and we had a particularly hot thread about something import and all of a sudden low and behold my inbox was filled with Toyletota adds and stuff.
But like I said it could be anyone.
