8100 orig miles. Only wants 80 THOUSAND! ha ha ha cough cough ha. croak....
From ad.... One of a kind find here... guaranteed to get looks wherever you choose to drive or park this classic beauty. Likely one of the lowest mileage Fieros in the country. Starts, runs, and drives perfect.
1988 was the best model year for the Pontiac Fiero, and the only year for collectors or tuners. This Formula edition comes with the notchback body stlye, the V6 engine, 5 speed manual transmission and a fully removable sunroof. This car will easily bury the dial on the 120mph spedometer.
I am the third owner of this car. Miles are original, and shows in how clean and responsive this car is to throttle input. Likely this car has never been driven in rain, let alone snow. No rust on frame. Original paint and tires shine like new.
More than willing to answer any questions about the car, and am open to realistic offers and or trades.
Asking $80,000 for this rare vehicle.
No test drives without a written agreement on price and money on the dash.
Nice looking car but 80 grand! Really??????

Hey Patrick, I took a look on "car-from-UK.com"... Is that legit? The excerpt below raises scam flags for me.
"Want to buy Pontiac Fiero?
Leave us your request for the purchase, we will select for You a car in the United Kingdom or the United States is in excellent condition and with a good story. Help with making a deal and delivery. "

David, I don't know anything about that site... except that's where the writer of the bogus ad (which was referred to in the first post) got his Fiero photos from.

Yeah, lol, I noticed right away you had seen the pics before. How'd you come across the .uk site? It's rife with lousy English, but seems to have been around for awhile. I'd be pretty wary...
Well, the ad is back on Raleigh CL. Phone number comes up as Jordan Lake Water Sports although there's a note on that car web site that says someone with same first name from aurora, IL. made an offer of 9,200 so maybe it's sold. But I suspect that what is really happening is that he's trying to get a commitment from someone to buy it for a high price before he actually buys it from them since the CL ad says no test drives without written commitment to buy cash on the dash!
Not really a scam as such, just someone trying to act as a (slightly less than honest) middle man.

trunk lid looks like a non-88 coupe lid. I thought the 88's didn't have the metal plate over the engine like that. In 88 the part was built into the lid, I think Pontiac won an award for it.
