So when i took my steering column apart, i didnt have the rools to fix it. So i put it back together briefly and parked it and im not driving it until i fix the column sometime soon. When putting it back together, i forgot to put in the little spring and pin for the horn. So when the column shook, the horn relay went off like crazy (and my horns did once, never heard them work before this) and now a few days later my battery is dead, assuming it sas the horn relay. Is there anything i should do like unplug the battery or horn relay to prevent further damage? I cant jump start it for a couple of days..

If you're concerned about an abnormal battery draw and you can't trace it prior to the car sitting for awhile... disconnect a battery terminal (preferably the neg).

low/dead battery Hates freezing weather. The low battery will easily freeze too. (Full battery won't freeze until well below 0°F)
pull the battery and charge it.
