I finally got to watch this movie for the first time this past weekend. Afterwards I watched all of the extras on the disc because I was pretty amazed at the originality of the vehicles in the movie. During the bonus feature "Fury on Four Wheels" they described many of the vehicles created for the film. At one point there was a rapid flurry of still photos of some of the vehicles they created. I had to pause it and step through it frame by frame to see each of the vehicles. One of the vehicles caught my eye because it sure looks like a Fiero:

Eh. Skylines are not so valuable in Japan/Australia though, especially salvage cars. Remember that most all of Fury Road was filmed in Australia, and most all the cars were also built there. The car was probably unregisterable when they started with it. Kind of like how this Silvia was:
