This is my first post on this forum, have been checking out some of the info and find it very interesting. So I decided to sign up!!!!!!! Have a black 86 Fiero GT that I'm working on, will post some pics later.
Welcome!! Come to TO/T and post all your dirty laundry! ummm.....Just kidding. Stay away from there for a bit.
Really though there are many, many great and knowledgeable people on the site, including TO/T. Lots of people with every experience you can think of. Fieros are our passion. Learn to use the search function as much as you can, but it is a little limited. Sometimes Google will bring you to the right solution within this forum. Learn how to use PIP, as Patrick said. It's a little clumsy, but once you get used to it, it works great! The Construction Zone is a great read on some of the classic builds that have gone on here over the years. FYI's and How To's are really good as well. Look up some threads associated with Skitime. He was a master at building his own car himself the way he wanted it.
Also take a look at the Tyler Shipman build. There are a few threads associated with it. That is what made me join this forum after many years of "lurking". The character of many people on this forum is second to none IMHO.
Welcome...remember to ask lots of questions, but before you do...remember to utilize the search function, it is a great resource to search all existing threads and there is decades of knowledge here.
Welcome from an old timer, as many have said the madness, addiction, etc. It is interesting, it is frustrating, upsetting, maddening and at times just plain good ole fun! To borrow from the Jeep people "its a Fiero Thing" As you know these cars are different. I like the fact that they are low and wide. When you see one on the road it's like Wow that car is low!. Easy to spot in a parking lot. Not many cars that look like it! Enjoy. You found a good source of information here.
