I've been away from Fieros for about eleven years now, marriage combined with a spun rod ended my romance. I was 85Josh here. But, I just brought home an 87 SE, in (mostly) great shape! I'm so excited I'm literally bouncing, which isn't exactly attractive in a 42-year-old man, but I can't help it.

Thanks! It is almost exactly what I wanted, aero notchie, no spoiler, L4. Just wish it was manual, but I couldn't pass it up.

Unfortunately, she started knocking on the way home. Here's hoping its just a lifter! Anyone got a DIS L4 cheap?

I have an excellent 88 L4/TH125 combo, ~74K miles, fresh professional head rebuild at 66K, ran flawlessly when pulled for a V-6 swap. Complete with wiring and ECU.
PM me if you are interested.

It is in great shape, outside of the engine knock. 63400 miles, it's the lowest mile Fiero I have personally ever driven.

That's cool. I just picked up an 87 base coupe a couple weeks ago. Not running, engine partially torn down.

Welcome back to owning the fun car that no one can leave alone. At times family matters can take one away from the hobby but in many cases, a few years later a return to the hobby enters the picture. Few can avoid the fun of the Fiero world for long.

Ain't that the truth! Dennis, were you at one of the Fiero Factory swap meets back in the early 2000's? I seem to recall you flew in and rented a car?
