Not sure how many on here have a 3d Printer but I designed this to replace the carpet clips in the trunk. My GT had none and I didn't feel like ordering new ones. Maybe someone else will get some use out of it too.

Would you be willing to sell them in different colors?
I need some for my 88 and didn't want to buy any either, but I don't have a printer

That is awesome !! Will try to print tommorrow night , it has to be printed length wise though otherwise it breaks on the layers but maybe I can figure something out.

Thanks, I've been playing with different free modeling software in preparation for buying a 3d printer. That was done on tinkercad. I did not fix the length issue you talked about.

Would acetone vapor help the strength of the layers?

Most likely, but I only have pla and nylon from a weedwacker no abs right now. I tried a few times with the nylon but the small part warps alot. I'm thinking I might be able to print it on a 45 degree or so angle so the logo is facing up for a good print and some strength

Now that you have experience with it, would you buy it again or start out with another printer?

Got it to print well and strong, printed on a 45 degree angle with support and a raft so there's alot of wasted material but it came out well.

That's awesome, first thing I've messed with that's ever been printed. Looks like it would come out better with a bigger head but most of the center of the badge came out great.

Just uploaded v2, I'm not sure if embossing it will make it print better and the head may be too large now.

I would think gray, to match the gray carpets.
I like where this is going
