Just wondering, does anyone have an up to date list of how many Fieros still exist and if they have original or modified engines in them? Probably not. However if it did exist, the values may start to climb as they are becoming more rare. When I attend various shows in Colorado, they are few and far between. I have had several offers to buy mine, (88GT w/3800SC) but it's not for sale. I enjoy it when I can but it's mostly a nice weather car. I read the recent article of Hemmings classic cars with the 88GT in it and the car in the article was a great original GT. It was good to see an article noting that once the engineers got it right, GM and the insurance industry shut them down. The article even mentioned the cool 89 prototype which looks like it was the foundation/looks for the Firebird.
There are threads active on this Forum that collect information on the '88 and '87 model years. They are raw input data, and as of today, there is no summary that you can read. The 88 thread was in support of 88 Database Guy on this forum who at one point said he had over 5000 vehicles documented, but he has lost interest and done nothing with his information. Anyone with the talent and willpower can use the PFF information to generate a list we can all see, and I hope someone does that.
