Does anybody have any experience repairing or (threads about) fixing front end collision damage on a Fiero?

My neighbor has a clean blue 87 GT and he managed to read end somebody. He is older and the car has sat for a few months since.
The car has lots of nice parts and was well taken care of and he is looking to get rid of it.
The inner bumper parts are damaged a bit and the area where the edge of the hood is rolled up a bit as well.
I'm wondering if it is salvageable or if this is just a really nice parts car.

So, no leaks?

Shouldn't be a problem to repair if that's it.

Not that I could tell. But it does look the front core support area has some damage. The front bumper is off but not destroyed.
Hard to assess during cold/snow but if there is damage to the front part of the frame I have no idea if or how costly that would be to fix.

If the space frame isn't damaged, pretty much everything else can be repaired. The frame can be repaired too but it's much more difficult to do.

Could be an easy fix if it isn't tweaked.

My Daughter's 88 Formula had a bad 2014

after pulling the frame out

Then welded in the donar parts

We then taught ourselfs how to do vinal wrap

All in all it took several weekends to get everything back into the right shapes and solid again. I also installed bigger brakes to avoid a reoccurrence

^^^^^This car looks very much the same. The upper part is curled up just like yours.
How much was it to get the frame straightened?
