just bought an 87 GT yesterday that I saw on Craigslist.


Need to get the outside rubber molding for the drivers side door, the one that meets the window at the base, its cracked.

Drivers side window is slow going down, the passenger one doesnt go down past an inch or so.

The power locks work, but dont have enough strength to open and close completely.

Need a headliner, saw a thread about that


I saw the thread on the Ebrake, mine is possessed right now.


Down the road the roof and trunklid need to be repainted due to fading.

Down the road looking to do a 3800 sc conversion.

The rubber where the window meets the door is a dew wipe (or strip) or glass seals. There is an inner and outer one for each side. There is a member here who makes them, or you can get them from the Fiero Store.

It sounds as if you also need power window motors. Ebay or the Fiero Store. Sometimes, a switch goes bad, so I usually replace the switches also. Ebay. Get new switches. Used aren't worth it.

You can replace inner dew strips easily while replacing the power window motors. The outer ones are more difficult...

Come to the club meeting today at Pappa's BBQ on northwest highway between Loop 12 & I35E around 11am. There will be plenty of informative people there who can help. Except for Blake he's useless. Lol
