I have been offered a job at Gulfstream and will be moving to the area in about a week or so. I am wondering what the Fiero scene is like if there is even one. Thanks all.
Don't know about the Fiero scene but I can say this: visited there this summer and went to what is claimed to be the Best BBQ in Savannah (i.e. Wiley's Championship BBQ.) They could be right ... best I've ever had anyway.
People who have contacted the Georgia Fiero Club from Savannah and the surrounding area were very few and to my knowledge, the 3 that were near there have all disposed of their Fieros. Some of the South Carolina Fiero Club were centered around Charleston and Hilton Head, but they've not been able to hold a club together.
I haven't been to Savannah since 1972. To this day, I still tell people that if you love bugs, you'll love Georgia! Do the mosquito trucks still drive by in the evening to mist? Do they still have baby rattlesnake warnings on the radio? Kit
I know Atlanta is a bit of a trip from Savannah, but you are more than welcome to come to the next Georgia Fiero Club meeting, on the 8th of November. Directions are on this page, and you can join our forum on this page.
