Join the Northern Illinois Fiero Enthusiasts as we head to Pontiac, IL for the third annual Regional All Pontiac Cruise And Show. This is quickly becoming one of the largest all Pontiac shows in the area with almost 200 cars in just its second year last year. Let’s make sure Fieros are well represented this year. A Fiero class has been added with multiple awards!
The show is on Sunday, September 21, 2014 in downtown Pontiac, IL. Besides the show, this event is also a great opportunity to check out the Pontiac Oakland Museum, the Route 66 Museum, and the Livingston County War Museum.
If you want to cruise down with NIFE, we will meet in the parking lot of the Cheddar's restaurant in Bolingbrook, IL at the Northwest corner of the intersection of I-55 and Route 53. We will be leaving from the Cheddar's parking lot at 9:00am sharp, so please begin arriving at 8:30am. We will then travel South on I-55 to Pontiac, IL with an expected arrival time around 10:30am.
The show hours are from 10:00am until 2:00pm with the awards ceremony at 3:30pm. If you would like to make a full weekend out of it, there are events and presentations planned for Saturday, September 20, 2014 including a Route 66 cruise, a talk by Pontiac Designer Bill Porter, a dinner, and an ice cream social. More info on the entire weekends schedule available at http://www.hoigto.com/2014P...iac/SeptMeeting.html (Fieros are class 17 if you are pre-registering).
HOPE TO SEE ALL THE CENTRAL AND SOUTHERN ILLINOIS FIEROS AT THIS ONE!!!!

I'll be buttoning up my new fuel pump; this will be a good road test for it. Painted the tank too while it was out and installed all new hoses and hard line between the tank and the lines that go into the fuel rail!

Good. Missed seeing your car at Fierorama. If something comes up and its not ready for the trip, let me know if you want to ride down with me.
We missed you CSS. We kept looking for you to roll in late. Did you get your fuel pump in OK?
I did, and the car runs 100% better. I think the pump had been increasingly weak before it died thus making the car low on power which is ALL gone now!
