Thats a funny way to put it
Once you determine the rust isnt too much...I recommend those safety items like tires and ball joints. Remember to use the mall here, someone may have some take offs they are selling when getting new wheels or something.

Did you steal my todo list?
I'm hopefully going to tackle the rust issue this winter. I want to take care of it now and hopefully never have to worry about it again.

Yes. Rust is what we do out here. You should be OK if you can clean and paint both sides of the fix. That's very hard to do on some repairs, however.

Dont drive it in winter and store it somewhere dry.

If you have the yard to put one in, its more worth building a garage than using someone elses storage.

Also garageless. Have yard, but no money for a garage currently.

quote Originally posted by tshark: If we pool our money, we could probably buy one from matchbox and put a hot wheels Fiero in it. With another person or 2, perhaps a 2-car matchbox garage. Seriously, mine sits in a carport with a car cover. I habe no idea how the needles and things get into the front compartment. We're not allowed to park on grass, dirt, bricks, or gravel. It has to be concrete.
I had a car port at my last house. I swore that when we moved, my only requirement was an actual garage.
I don't even have a carport at this house.

I have that same mod list, but I only list it as a single mod. 1. Maintain car.
