Just DONT look at any pics in magazines or on your computer. Most colors do not render well , even in quality photographs. Look for a car YOU LIKE on the street and note its brand and possible year and take that to your paint store. Even their paint 'chips' book is not very accurate. You see it on a car and you will KNOW exactly what it looks like. Best if you see it on a new car on a lot, get the paint code off it. If you see one in the parking lot, a dealer can give you the exact code from just the VIN number.

My favorite newer color is a deep dark cherry/burgandy red (looks candy) on late model Scion.
