I know nothing bout the 3800s,been messing with SBC all my life so am waaaay behind the curve..

Can you guys recommend some good reading/study materials to start my education...

My goal is to pull around 400+- hp and with 4spd auto the car will be a D/D with AC and not a racer....But I like to have power just in case

I am a backyard builder and not a engineer so any help is appreciated..

All of the answers on how to swap a 3800 engine into a Fiero are right here on this forum. Look in the construction zone and in the archives. There are also many guys here that have done the swap and are willing to share info. Its a time costly process but really not a very hard swap, especially so, when you can purchase many of the conversion parts from vendors that post here.

Most I can recommend is search and get to reading as there is a ton of info on how to do the swap. If ur looking for 400 HP and plan to stay SC thrn ur gonna need a bit of MODs. But I can u that once u hit 325-350HP in the Fiero u will be happy since ur not looking to build a racer. For that u can go with a simple cam, IC, pulley, N* TB setup along with the needed parts for the MODs.
