Hi Guys,

i am looking for a insurance company to get my 1988 Fiero Gt insured. I live in Canada, Ontario, GTA area.

Any GTA fiero owners that can give me some contacts and some pricing of their policies.

I was interested in having my fiero has a pleasure car, not a daily driver.

Thanks

I'm with Lant Insurance.

It was easy to sign up, and the rates are nice and low. Perfect for what I use my car for (pleasure driving / car shows / etc)

Google your nearest "Silver Wheels" agency. It's a program underwritten by Hagerty (although it may be under Aviva Elite) for collectible cars 25 years or older. I have my '86 GT insured through them with $1M liability, and $100 deductible on collision and comp for a whopping $90 a year. You need to get an appraisal from a recognized appraisal service and you're insured against that value. For comparison's sake, my thoroughly restored '86 GT is valued at $12.5K. There is no better deal out there.

Agreed with the Hagerty referral. Mine is insured for 2 million liability, $12,000 replacement cost, and I am paying around $350 for the year

There are a few folks on www.gtfieros.com (Toronto Forum) where you can get more info on meets, etc.
