I was headed up north Michigan today and I saw a Lambo and then a Ferrari. Then, a few miles later, I spotted an older Porsche 928. I told my wife that I would so trade my Fiero for that 928 because it was one of my childhood dream cars.
So I got to wondering what dream car would everyone else trade their Fiero for.
My other choices are a Porsche 911, Porsche 959, 1979 Pontiac Trans Am 6.6, 1978-1981 Corvette, 1987 Buick GNX.
The trend I'm seeing here is none of these are cars we could get by trading our Fiero.
So yeah, I'd trade my Formula in a heartbeat for a '72 Lucerne Blue Trans Am. (4-speed preferred, but I'm not picky). So if anyone has one and they're interested in a straight trade for an 88 Fiero Formula 5-speed, let me know. I won't be holding my breath.
Yes, you're correct. Nobody in their right mind is going to trade their '63 split window for a Fiero. But maybe there is somebody out there that isn't in their right mind.
I just like to know what member's dream cars are.
I think my new dream car is the McLaren P1 or the porsche 918 Spyder. But for the price of these cars, I could buy about 600 decent Fieros.
Fantasy trade list: 1) 1970 Buick Regal GSX Stage 1 in white with 4 speed manual 2) 1987 Buick Regal GNX 3) 1989 Pontiac Firebird Turbo Trans Am 4) 2002 Pontiac Firebird Formula SLP Firehawk 5) 2009 Pontiac Solstice Coupe with Mallet engine (LS7) + driveline swap
More realistic trade: 1988 Formula Fiero, white exterior, grey interior, body and birdcage condition matching my current Formula, but a different engine/trans combo. I would like an Ecotec LE5 turbocharged to the tune of 450-500HP with an F35 transmission that has been modified to stand up to that power level.
Being Realistic the Cars that I like would not result in an even trade, my out of pocket cash would be far more than I'm willing to spend for just a little more excitement.

there's a lot of people out there not in their right mind, a lot of them are right here on the forum.
me a 67 Firebird 400 convertible, just like the one I had in high school, it would pass anything but a gas station. of course gas back then was only 25 cents a gallon.

I'm gonna second this. My desktop background at work is the back end of an Ultima GTR with the rear clip removed. Dem steamroller tires... and dat exhaust...
