I'm not bashing this person, but have a question. It says it's a 5 speed Isuzu transmission out of an '85. I thought Isuzu transmissions in the '85s were only 4 speed? Or were those Muncies? I didn't think 5 speeds other than Getrags were available, and that wasn't until '86.5?

Just confused on transmissions is all.

The only isuzu trans used in Fieros was the 5 speed. It was available behind (beside?) the 2.5. The getrag was introduced in 86.5 with the 2.8. The Muncies were all 4 speeds. The only auto used was the th125.
