Mine is a part-time fun car.....it competes with my Bugeye Sprite on sunny days and the Bugeye usually wins when I want to putt around town. A tank of gas in the Fiero tends to last 6-8 weeks, which is insane......when I did daily drive a Fiero I was filling up twice a week!
It's my "toy" car. After Ryan swapped the engine, it's got the the reliability to be a daily driver now, but those duties will remain with the G.

Daily Driver, but eventually going to just be the weekend warrior/car shows car. Maybe track car, depends on what I decide to do with IZ-A-TOY though. If I can ever get time to bring her back from Texas and finish her she will be the track car...

Mostly a fun fair weather cruiser, weekender, joyride, car show / cruise in events, some what you could call road trips to farther away Fiero show events. Could daily drive if insurance was changed.
For the first four years or so daily driver, but now it's a weekend special events car. Maintenance is too severe for daily driving in my experience. I think I need an equal number of maintenance hours to driving hours.
The 85 has been a daily driver for 29 years (except when there's snow!). The 88 I've had for almost 2 years is also a daily driver. I alternate the 2 every couple of months. Drive them 12 miles to work (each way) when it's nice weather. Drive the truck when it's crappy. Like others of said, they're more for fun than practicallity. I also enjoy the challenge of maintaining them. I guy I know who owns classic wooden Chris Craft boats says, "We don't own these pieces of history. We are merely their current caretakers."
