I'm doing a 3800 sc swap this year and am hung up on a choice for a fuel pump.
Has anyone here run an external pump?
Where did you position it, or where do you think it would hide best?

My sisters silverado pump blew for the second time, rather than pay the 600+ for a new pump let alone install costs, we
installed an external pump in line. We didn't remove the old sending unit since the fuel gauge was still working and it seemed to
supply more than enough.
Hate to drop the tank if i don't have to.
it was also much easier to replace when something went wrong and it was much cheaper.

Opinions?
Ideas?
