I was converting the A/C to R134a today on my 86 GT project that's been sitting for a few years & remembered
previous posts on checking the heater box for leaves/mice nests and found this:



It must have had a fire in the past, the box is just slightly melted/cracked, luckily it didn't go up in flames.
