To me, there's something suspicious about those two 88GTs.
For a 21 mile fiero, that engine bay is quite dirty.
The 2nd fiero...look at the engine bay on the right (battery side). What is that wiring plastic loom cover doing there? Its not like any V6 fiero I've seen.

My only thought could be that it could have something to do with the "Alarm System" that the car supposedly has.
On my 87 the clips that hold the deck lid weather strip on are black. Both cars had clips that were the color of the car. Seems odd to me that both needed to be painted. The 22 mile car has a lot of warping of the console for a stored car - unless it was in an oven. Some parts look too good, some not good enough. I'd be wary at those prices.
i was looking at the steering wheel wear marks. no way 21 miles. i grew up on a farm and my father taught me when buying a good tractor first thing to look at was the hole in the drawbar , if its oblong this tractor is a worker, if its never been used steer clear. theres a reason. Also with only 21 miles this thing would be selling on Barret jackson or hemmings not craigslist. and be the lowest recorded milage fiero in the US

Just gonna say real quick that we can't make an accurate judgement about whether or not these cars ARE or ARE NOT for real from craigslist ads. Determining that the red on the valve covers is too dark from crappy craigslist pics? Or being able to definitively see wear marks on steering wheels or a seat that's been sat in a lot? Or it's too dirty? And the comment about how they wouldn't be on craigslist if they were real? Consider that a crazy low mileage car is likely owned by the original purchaser, which makes said seller likely to be in their 60's or older today. For me at least I wouldn't be surprised by their doing the simple stuff trying to sell their car as opposed to ebay or messing with auction houses. Further, if you search you'll find that Fieros that HAVE made it to the fancy auction places don't bring big $ no matter how rare they have been. My point is simply that unless you're looking at the cars in person, you can't make these assessments IMHO. Frankly, I didn't see anything in the pics that gives me license to announce there's "no way" on either car. This kind of stuff potentially prevents/discourages a purchase or sale for someone. Just sayin.

That being said and true a simple run of the VIN thru DMV will tell the true reregistration and mileage per Lyc renewal cycle if the claims are accurate.

The higher mileage car actually looks better than the low mileage one. I noticed a lot of dirt stain on the cowl cover of the 21 mile car, along the compartment seal. I also see a lot of dirt stain on the left fender well, just behind the headlight and underneath the brake distribution block.

Chris Munsons 88 Formula has only 2700 miles on it. Audry was trying to sell it the last I knew for about $10K, since Chris died. I don't know if it was sold, she had many low ball offers.
