Hi and I hope everyone is enjoying the Christmas period

My question - is the decklid for a 1987 fastback the same as a 1986 and 1988 ? (the decklid being the main body part that has the rear wing/spoiler bolted to it and not the decklid grills that are either side - (not to cause any confusion))

They all interchange, but some have a spoiler, spoiler delete, or a luggage rack.

Yes. Fastback lids are the same.
