What size pulley are you running and do you have a full Intercooler? What is the plug gap set at? Depending on your setup, I run Autolite 103's gapped at .040, of course I have a 2.8" pulley and the 5% overdrive balancer so I wanted to make sure I had no spark blow out.

Full stack with 2.8... gapped at 0.45. So what's the whole spark blow out?

Too big of a gap will cause the engine to feel like a miss up high in the rpms. I would stick with the 103's but gap them at like .042" or something and see what happens. It shouldn't change your air fuel at all though.

Possible the old plugs were giving you issues resulting in lean readings.. new plugs working better will cause less misfires that otherwise would have shown lean.
