I read somewhere that FOCOA used to sell blueprints of the Fiero assembly plant.
Does anyone have one of those blueprints? I'd love to see the layout of the assembly line...

Years ago I remember seeing original blueprints for sale on ebay. I believe there was 2 or 3 different ones. (for different year changes) I bid on them but just went to high for me at the time.

Doesn't anyone here have them?
That's something that should be in an archive...

Phil had a set of them but they were not for sales. I know several people have a set as they come up for bid on E bay in a rare while.

They are very large so scanning them would be difficult.

I tried to buy a set once but the price went higher than I was willing to pay.

The sets you are speaking of, are they what we call a full set of drawings? This would include pages of structurals, machanical, electrical, plumbing, equipment layout etc... All I have ever seen are the floor plans the show the factory layout. I have one of those pages and it can be reprinted at any print shop that produces drawings for Arch., contractors, owners etc.

The ones I have seen most are the floor plans. Yes they are of the size that you would have to go to a blueprint shop or a place that does contractor prints.

I have seen limited other prints but they were never for sale.

I wish someone would make copies of the plant layout and sell them as reproduction.

Phil had his mounted on a large board that he got from GM. I know the others have been folded up on the web. It has been a good while since I have seen any available. If I can ever get a set I would be glad to send you a copy. Just have to find them first.
