If you just blocked off the EGR, your car is running worse.
You need to disable the EGR is the computer as well.

Very nice looking original steering wheel! Even though mine only has 65K miles on it, the steering wheel is doing the slimy, sticky, ooze thing. I hope this will be my Christmas present!

Lol, guys. I will have to get that prom chip reprogrammed... eventually XD.
my Fiero is around 92k; with my rebuilt 2.8 and 2.84 ratio auto trans with 225 60r15 tires on the rear.
I've had this setup for 2k now, engine has 5k on it. and the trans has 14k since I overhauled it.
gas milege is excellent

also, my steering wheel is solid, no goo either, I guess I got a lucky one!
