84-87 upper control arms- which side is which?? by tesmith66

Hi.

I took the upper control arms off of my 86 last night and noticed the RH arm has an "L" stamped on it and the LH arm has nothing. How can I tell if they are on the correct sides? Can they be switched without any adverse affects? I'm a little confused...

The "bend" with the "angle" is the forward side, the "smooth" bend is the rear side.
