Looking around for calipers and not much luck. only ones I found were from a friend of a friend and he offered 36 plus 15 core for the fronts each and 80 plus 25 core for the rears each.

This "friend of a friend" is trying to gouge you.

Calipers are $11.95 at the wreckers (front or rear) with a $3 core charge.

Have you looked at the price of new ones (loaded and unloaded) Here?

you can get brand new rebuilt rears for $50 at oreillyauto.com and i think the fronts are 30.
