I was just curious to see how many people are changing their dew strips this season.

I started yesterday, but have to wait for Rodney's tool to arrive.

Years ago I picked up some original GM replacement strips and have had them tucked away until now.

Will be doing the set on the ReMera this weekend. I have Rodney's tool this time...should make it a lot easier than when I did the set on BluDrm.

Replacing dew wipes is something that every Fiero owner will be doing or should be doing. Its a real PITA job but after you do the first one the next one comes easier. I choose not to try to change the dew wipes while the window sits in position. Instead I mark and remove the window stop brackets and raise the window up to where the difficult screws can be accessed with an ordinary screwdriver. I've seen how others do it with the window sitting in the normal up-down position but you need to be a contortionist to get at those center screws.
Until DIY Stu and/or Sejal begins making them again the Fiero Store is the only source. The dew wipes can also be made from stock dew wipe material but you would need to drill them, re-use the mirror bracket, know how to flush rivet and buy some window felt separately. It can be done for about $50 each but IMO not really worth the effort.

If Seajals dew wipes are available in three weeks I will buy a set.

Cruised with him yesterday. He has his brackets ordered from the machine shop and stainless steel rivets on the way. About a $700.00 outlay in supplies.

He had decided to get out of making them because his last batch sold so slowly. Hopefully, we can convince him otherwise.
